Are Sunflowers and Green Beans Good Companions?

This is only my second summer of gardening and my first experiment with companion planting. Last year, most of my tomatoes thrived, except for the two plants which I had planted potatoes next to...they were NOT happy.

This year I have many carrots as well as pepper plants in with my tomatoes. The potatoes are on the other side of the garden with beets, onions and cauliflower.

I have two other beds: one with cucumbers, marigolds and dill and the other has sunflowers sandwiching six rows of corn. My plan was to guide the cucumbers into the corn as well as grow Green beans and Lima beans next to the corn and sunflowers so that they could travel up the stocks.

However, based on the information above I am wondering if my sunflowers and beans will not thrive together...does anyone have experience with this?
